Wannabe rappers often do not have the persistence or the talent to carry on with their pursuit and because of this quit prematurely. Persistence on top of a bit of talent will go an awful long way to helping you succeed though. You only have to look at most of the rappers around today; they mostly originated from the ghettos but didn’t let this stand in their way of success. Attitude is the mainstay of achieving success through rapping. If you have the will to succeed, on top of a smattering of consistency and persistence, you will go far in the rapping world.
It is very important to be aware of these three main sounds before making your first rap instrumentals. The snare drum sound, the drum kick and the hi hat are these sounds. The drum kick sound is a forceful sound and can be made bolder by adding vibrations. This sound is known as a B sound. Hi hat sound is made from TS sound, while snare sounds come from PSH sound.
When trying to practise, using these sounds in a series is the best way to go. The combination of B, TS, PSH and TS is the best sequence. Because practise makes perfect, keep at it until the sounds are ingrained into your mind. And when you have become proficient at them you can try other combinations. Soon enough you will be able to make your own rap music. Note: Visit this link: gangsta funk beats to learn more about rap and hip hop
Learning the rhythm though is the most important thing you have to do. And once this has been mastered, trying to compose a song will be simple. You will obviously make mistakes along the way, but don’t worry too much. Practise, practise and practise even more and at the end of the day you will become master of your own destiny. To sum up I would like to say that beat making is not an easy task.
