Looking to purchase a digital cameras? Searching for which is the best digital camera to buy? Well, in this posting, we’ll talk about the best digital cameras of 2010 and find out the pros and cons of every one.
You’ll find quite a lot of factors you need to consider when you’re purchasing a digital camera. These include but aren’t limited to the brand, the cost, the features, the build, the consumer reviews, etc. Herein, I’m compiling a long list of the best digital cameras according to me. To really make it in this list, a camera has to be great because I’m someone who is pleased by just almost every other technology wonder! It has to be seriously, really special to get a mention.
So, here we go…
Nikon D7000 - Nikon is right up there with Canon in terms of making digital cameras, in my opinion. This one is a testament to their benchmarks. An absolutely spectacular camera which has a wonderful viewfinder; the Nikon D70000 has been loved by everyone. It’s slightly on the pricey side yet, the price is cent percent justified.
It’s a 16.2 Megapixel camera and in addition it allows you to take stunning videos in full HD (1080P). There are plenty of features that it’ll fill up more than a few pages. If you’re a professional photographer, this is for you. If you’re not really a professional photographer, but someone who wants to take stunning pictures, this is for you.
You’ll understand what I’m talking about once you hold this camera in the hand. Its an absolute masterpiece - the buttons, knobs, controllers have all been positioned at the perfect locations which makes it simpler to use. The image quality is certainly not less than amazing. What’s better still is that this camera is among the few that you can take with you when traveling. It is among the lighter ones. I looked up for this camera’s reviews online and it appears like most people are in agreement with me. It gets an average of 4.5 stars.
Canon EOSD 5D - This camera comes a close second. Actually, I’d say there’s a tie between the first as well as second. It is really an equally great camera and if you prefer the Canon brand, this is for you. It’s a bit limited in the video capabilities though therefore if you’re high on video, this isn’t the digital camera for you. Other than that, the picture quality rocks ! and you’d love it, I’m sure. It is costlier compared to Nikon’s therefore if your budget is restricted, choose the Nikon.
This one is 12.8 MP having a 2.5 inch LCD digital screen. One con for me was it didn’t support as a drive after i hooked up it to my Mac. I was able to move my work eventually however, I had to go through a totally distinct (and painstakingly difficult!) route.
For image quality & overall characteristics, I’d give this camera a 4 start. For those other things mentioned previously, such as the price, I give it a 3 star.
Nikon Coolpix S8100 - If you’re purchasing on a critically restricted budget, this is actually the camera for you. Though it’s nowhere near the quality of the two I’ve mentioned previously, you get what you spend on. In this case, though, you receive far more than you spend for. The cost is very low and when you retain that in mind, the standard and all the other features are extremely great.
I’m not too fond of the body design, though. The controls are put in awkward areas and you end up doing stuff you didn’t set out to! Overall, this camera gets a 2.5 star based on the features as well as the price.
