Understanding How To Learn Clairvoyance

Can you really learn how to be clairvoyant? To a certain extent, the answer to that question is yes. However, to understand this, we have to first clarify what ‘learn clairvoyance‘ actually means.

Part of what’s confusing is that the term ‘clairvoyance‘ has different meanings, depending on whom you talk to. Most commonly, people think being clairvoyant means that you can engage in remote viewing, which is that you can see things from far away without using your senses or any type of technology. Another common definition of it among people is that precognition is actually clairvoyance. However, recognition means that you can see events happening in the future. Most basically, what clairvoyance really means is that you can know something about a person, location, object, or event without using your five senses. In other words, clairvoyance is really a sixth sense.

It is true that some individuals have extraordinary clairvoyant skills such as the ability to tap into the five senses to connect with something far away or to look into the past or future. But, no one truly knows how this works and science has lacked the ability to explain the process. Yes, there are many metaphysical explanations for such psychic abilities but no one particular explanation have emerged to truly define it. If there was one common denominator among all of these components it would be the simple notion that most people with these powers were born that way.

So, the question remains: Can anyone actually learn how to do remote viewing or see the future? No, but they CAN learn how to hone and to develop their already existent sixth sense.

All people have a certain degree of clairvoyant sixth sense. This often manifests as an indescribable ‘hunch’ or ‘feeling’ that people can’t logically explain. You may hear people say, for example, ‘I’ve got a bad feeling about this,’ or ‘I don’t know why, but I’ve got a feeling we can trust him.’ Unfortunately, many people ignore their sixth sense, deferring to logic or emotion rather than their gut instinct.

To a certain degree, science also acknowledges that hunches and instincts, and their validity, exists. However, what differs is that scientists don’t think there’s anything paranormal, supernatural, or psychic about this ability. For example, psychologists say that the phenomenon is caused by your subconscious mind picking up on little signals, hints and details that you and your conscious mind simply ignore because you’re too busy. However, your subconscious mind does actually see these things, and translates them into emotions that can help guide you with your proverbial ‘hunches’ and ‘instincts.’ So in order to develop a sixth sense, you have to learn how to trust and use your subconscious mind.

Whether your sixth sense is based in paranormal psychic ability or brain neurochemistry (or both) is ultimately unimportant. The point is that clairvoyance exists, everyone has it to a certain degree, and anyone can develop and hone their clairvoyant ability if they choose to. Here are three ways to do so.

1. Improve Your Perception

Most people go through life so overly focused on their immediate tasks they become oblivious to what surrounds them. Those tiny details hidden in plain sight are picked up by the subconscious mind and ignored by the conscious mind. It becomes necessary to increase perception in order to be aware of things in clear detail. This will allow for the greater development of a clairvoyant sixth sense.

This takes some practice, but there are some things you can do to try to increase your perception. First, slow down. Relaxed calm down, and move at a slower pace in your daily activities. Second, minimize or remove distractions whenever you can and that normally distract your senses, too. For example, don’t listen to the radio when you drive and instead drive in silence. When you don’t have anything else to occupy your senses are thoughts, you’ll become more aware of the world around you, including the neighborhood you’re driving in, the weather and the car behind you that may be moving into your blind spot.

Finally, occasionally do a ‘mini-meditation’. This consists of closing your eyes, taking a deep breath, and forcing yourself to relax. When you open your eyes again, you’ll be more aware of your surroundings. This only takes a few seconds, but you’ll be surprised by the difference it makes.

2. Meditate

Invest time in meditating at least 30 minutes a day. The general purpose of meditating is to alter and clear the conscious state of mind in order to allow your subconscious mind rise to the surface. This way it can do what is needed to work and communicate with the conscious mind. That is why people who meditate develop feelings relaxation when they are done.

Now, meditation is not exactly easy to do, especially if your mind is always racing. For example, you may sit down and try to think about nothing, but all of a sudden, you’re thinking about the fact that you can’t think about nothing. You also may wonder if you’re doing this wrong, which can get perseverative and get you ’stuck’ in thought that simply won’t turn off. The key to getting through this is to occupy your conscious mind with something that will distract it. You can do this by using a mantra and to focus.

Meditation can be difficult because your senses act as a means of distraction. Every little sound you hear and anything that you feel can prove quite distracting. So, it is best to avoid trying to shut down your senses and, instead, try to keep them busy with something you are focusing on. The flame of a candle can work well in this regard. As the flame flickers and shifts, you can watch it and keep your mind occupied.

Second, our conscious mind, our thoughts, never shuts down?we’re always thinking about something. Rather than try to silence it, occupy and distract it with a mantra. A mantra is phrase, poem, or prayer that you repeat over and over again in your head just to occupy your mind. It can be anything?a prayer, a favorite poem, even song lyrics?just as long as you know it by heart and can recite it with much thought. Some people pray the rosary as they meditate?the endless string of memorized Hail Marys occupies their conscious mind perfectly.

3. Learn to Trust Your Instincts

This may be the most important thing you do when it comes to developing clairvoyant abilities. It’s normal to doubt and second-guess yourself and you get started with this, but learn not to doubt those gut feelings you always get. Instead, follow them and see what happens. Know that your hunches and instincts exist for some reason, and that your subconscious mind is probably trying to tell you something. It may be something your subconscious mind hasn’t noticed, but yet it’s still important.

Yes, this all may prove difficult at first, but skill can be developed over time. Just listen to and trust your instincts. You will discover more confidence over time and your clairvoyant sixth strength will grow. This will allow you to trust it.
