Why I recommend using search engines to find photography information

If you have been using the internet for some time then it might shock you to realize that in some countries it is still new and the need for such tutorials is in high demand. I have taken the time to share with readers of this site this piece of article to assist those individuals who are interested in photography and have not yet mastered the art of using the internet.

The web has made it easy to find content about photography instantly. Just a few years back you needed to take the whole morning at the library skimming through hundreds of books.

In this day and age 5 minutes is too long to find the right information. You just do a quick search in a search engine and find all the information you need about photography or niches details of the topic.

With billions of pages available for you to check out how best can you find this information online? The answer is  - through search engines.

Below I present some of the most useful operators you can use in order to make your search effective. It is not my intention to waste your time with too much information especially because this is simply a helpful guide to help you find the exact information you are looking for. To some this may be just a refresher “course” but I still do encourage you to read on.

These tips can work in most search engines but I base most of them on Google.

Use of commas in your search query can help you narrow you search to the pages with the exact information you want. For example if you want to find course about photography, just type in “photography courses”, For a career search on this topic just type “photography careers”. What you will get there is a list of pages that contain the exact words searched for.

Another alternative is to use the “+” operator. That is, entering a terms such as “documentary about photography”+ “photography books” will result in pages that have those keywords appearing in the same page but not necessarily close to each other.

My last tip is simply to search within one reliable site. You can do this by entering the operator “site:” at the beginning of your search followed by the site name and your keyword.Using this one will enable you to search through a site of your choice only.

Armed with this information there is no reason to spend hours searching for that information no matter how rare it is, could be you interest - photography or information you may need in the near future like how to do a reverse search on a cell phone number.

Now just take a few more minutes to check out some of the great content we’ve put together for you on this site.
